Welcome to Stellar Design Studio’s online store. By accessing or using this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

Stellar Design Studio offers a curated range of physical products, including furniture and home accessories, available for purchase by local and international customers.

Our online store operates in partnership with multiple independent fulfilment suppliers. As such:

  • Products may ship from different locations.

  • Orders containing multiple items may arrive separately.

  • Manufacturing and dispatch timelines may vary per supplier.

All product descriptions, images, specifications, pricing, and availability are subject to change without prior notice. While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant that product descriptions or website content are error-free.

 

2. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR).

  • Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards, PayPal, and EFT/bank transfer.

  • Full cleared payment must be received before goods are dispatched.

  • Stellar Design Studio reserves the right to correct pricing errors prior to dispatch.

 

3. Orders

Order Acceptance

Receipt of an order confirmation does not constitute final acceptance of your order. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order within 24 hours of purchase.

 

Order Cancellation

We reserve the right to cancel any order within 24 hours of purchase for reasons including but not limited to:

  • Product unavailability

  • Supplier stock discrepancies

  • Pricing or description errors

  • Fraud detection or payment issues

If cancelled, a full refund will be processed to the original payment method.

 

4. Delivery & Shipping Policy

Stellar Design Studio delivers throughout South Africa and selected international destinations.

Because we work with multiple independent suppliers, delivery timelines may vary depending on:

  • Supplier location

  • Stock availability

  • Manufacturing lead times

  • Courier operations

Delivery timeframes are estimates and not guarantees.

 

4.1 National Deliveries (South Africa)

Estimated delivery timeframes:

  • In-Stock Items: 5–12 business days

  • Made-to-Order Items: 20–30 business days

  • Back-Order Items: As indicated on the product page at the time of purchase (subject to change)

Additional notes:

  • Items may ship from different supplier locations.

  • You may receive separate tracking details per shipment.

  • Delays caused by suppliers or couriers are beyond our direct control.

 

4.2 Southern African Neighbouring Countries

We offer delivery to the following neighbouring countries, subject to supplier approval and courier availability:

  • Namibia

  • Botswana

  • Zimbabwe

  • Mozambique

  • Eswatini (Swaziland)

  • Lesotho

  • Zambia

 

Orders to these countries are processed as international shipments and must be arranged via email prior to confirmation.

 

4.3 International Shipping

All international orders (including neighbouring countries) must be processed manually due to supplier coordination and customs requirements.

International customers must submit an enquiry to:

Once received, we will:

  • Confirm availability

  • Liaise with relevant suppliers

  • Provide a custom shipping quotation

  • Advise estimated timelines

  • Outline potential customs duties or import taxes

Important:

  • Shipping fees and import duties are the buyer’s responsibility.

  • International lead times may be extended due to customs clearance.

  • No international order will be processed without written approval of shipping fees and timelines.

  • Stellar Design Studio is not responsible for customs delays or additional charges imposed by destination authorities.

 

4.4 Delivery Confirmation

Upon delivery:

  • A signature may be required, or

  • A One-Time Pin (OTP) may be required to confirm receipt.

Risk and ownership transfer to the buyer upon confirmed delivery.

 

4.5 Courier Damages

Courier-related damages must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

  • Order number

  • Clear photographs of the damage

  • Photographs of packaging

Failure to report within 24 hours may affect claim eligibility.

 

4.6 Product Unavailability

If a product becomes unavailable after purchase due to supplier discrepancies, we will:

  • Offer a similar alternative, or

  • Provide a full refund.

 

 

5. Return & Refund Policy

Please review carefully before purchasing.

 

5.1 Return Notification Period

Customers must notify us of their intention to return an item within 3–7 calendar days from the date of delivery.

Return requests must:

Failure to notify within 7 days may result in the return being declined.

 

5.2 Condition of Returned Items

To qualify for return:

  • Items must be unused

  • Items must be in original condition

  • Items must be returned in original packaging

  • All components and accessories must be included

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.

 

5.3 Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable unless defective:

  • Made-to-order items

  • Custom-manufactured products

  • Special import items

  • Clearance or sale items

 

5.4 Supplier Coordination

All return approvals are subject to supplier confirmation.

  • Return shipping instructions will only be issued once approved.

  • Return shipping costs may apply unless the item is defective or damaged upon delivery.

  • Reasonable restocking or handling fees may apply where permitted.

 

5.5 Damaged or Defective Items

If confirmed defective or damaged upon delivery, we will arrange:

  • A replacement (where available), or

  • A full refund.

 

5.6 Refund Processing

Once the returned item has been:

  • Received by the supplier, and

  • Inspected and approved,

 

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 working days.

Refunds may sometimes be processed sooner depending on supplier confirmation and banking timelines.

Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to supplier error or confirmed defect.

 

6. Privacy Policy

We collect personal information such as name, address, email, and payment details to process orders and improve our services.

Personal information is used to:

  • Fulfill orders

  • Communicate with customers

  • Send marketing communications (if consent is provided)

We implement reasonable security measures to protect personal data and do not sell personal information to third parties.

 

7. Customs Policy

International orders may be subject to customs duties and taxes imposed by the destination country. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility.

Buyers must comply with local import regulations. We are not responsible for customs-related delays.

 

8. Limitation of Liability

Stellar Design Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website.

Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product in question.

 

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

 

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
